Head and Neck Restraints
Targa New Zealand has introduced a new safety initiative by making head and neck restraints mandatory for all Targa events from January 2011. They need to be tethered to the helmet and are not soft-collared. As per SFI standard 38.1, the Hanz and DefNder restraints are approved. Details on these products are as per below.
